What is Pet Health Insurance?

Pet Health Insurance is pretty simple, it’s health insurance for your pet. It works very similar to health insurance; there are deductibles, coinsurance options and annual maximums. You choose the options you want.

  • Accident Coverage – Accident coverage comes into play when something sudden happens to the animal, for example a broken leg or if an animal was hit by a vehicle.

  • Illness Coverage – Our pets get sick, Illness coverage can pay medical costs for your pets when they are not feeling well.

  • Wellness Coverage – Need help with those routine costs? The wellness option is for you. This covers: wellness exams, intestinal deworming, routing dental cleaning, flea & tick prevention, heartworm tests and medication, prescription medications, boosters and vaccinations.

  • Reimbursement – You choose your coverage level; 70%, 80%, or 90%

  • Deductible – You choose your annual deductible; $250, $500, or $1,000

  • Annual Maximum – You choose your annual maximum of coverage; $5,000, $10,000, or $15,000
